Cappadocia Ephesus Tour – Itinerary
Day 1- Sunday Arrival to Cappadocia
Arrival to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport Transfer to hotel Dilek Kaya – Dinner
Day 2 Monday Cappadocia Hightlights Full day tour
Pick up from Kayseri or Nevsehir airport in the morning and transfer to Cappadocia to join for full day Cappadocia highlights tour.e We are going to start with Dervent valley, next visit is the Pasabag fairy chimneys it is also called Monk valley.Proceed to Avanos town where you can feel the local life. Avanos also famous with its handmade terracotta and ceramic art work. We will have opportunity to see how the ceramics made by hand. Lunch will be local Turkish food. In the afternoon visit Goreme Open Air Museum to see the frescoes which is telling stories of bible. Goreme open air museum has sanctuaries, churches, monasteries from the early Christianity period.Visit to Ozkonak or Cardak underground city Last visit will be panoramic viewpoint of down below the Uchisar Castle where you can see the castle and Goreme town with it is beautiful scenery Overnight Stay in Cappadocia Breakfast Lunch Dinner
DAY 3 – Tuesday Cappadocia to Pamukkale Via Konya
Departure from Cappadocia drive to Pamukkale on the way break and visit to 13th century Seljuk caravanserai “Sultanhan”. Then proceed to Konya to visit Mevlana’s Mausoleum, the great mystic poet and Islamic spiritual leader, who founded the sect of ”Whirling Dervishes” Overnight in Pamukkale. DAY 4 – Wednesday Pamukkale Tour
Hierapolis ancient city which is famous with its thermal healing Baths with mineral water beautiful snow white calcium terraces . After lunch visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, Masterpiece Theater drive to Kusadasi for Overnight stay. DAY 5 – Ephesus Tour
After breakfast departure to Seljuk to visit highlights of ancient Ephesus area. We are going to start with Isa Bey Mosque, then proceed to Ancient Ephesus dated back to the 2000 B.C, Walking in between remains of Ephesus such as the celsus library, the temples, fountain, colonnaded street, Great Theater where St. Paul preached on his missionary journey. Featuring selection of lunch lunch in a local Turkish restaurant. In the afternoon we are going to visit the carpet cooperative weaving center to learn from dying the wool ,silk and cotton to complete examples of handmade Turkish carpets. Proceed to House of Mother Mary, it is believed that this is the place where she spent recent years of her life. Final venue will be Temple Of Artemis (Diana ) We will relax with the fashion show at one of the outlet center. End of tour transfer to the hotel or Izmir airport Breakfast Lunch
SPECIAL NOTE
Clients may be able to walk over uneven and slippery surfaces. Comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen are recommended. The order of the tour schedule may vary in order to avoid from the crowd. Clients always need to watch out their step in order to avoid injuries.
Ps. There is no restriction for arrival and departure times on the private tours. Guests who arrive on later flights will be missing some parts in the itinerary and no refund is given for missing visits of the reason for the late arrivals. Regular Services from Kayseri Airport are valid only for the arrivals around 09:30 and departures at 19:00. Those who arrive earlier or depart later may need to wait at the airport.
