Cappadocia 3 Days Tour – Treasures of Cappadocia
DAY 1 -Istanbul to Cappadocia- Full day North Tour of Cappadocia With lunch
Early In the Morning Pick up from Central located hotels of Istanbul take flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport transfer to Cappadocia to join the full day Cappadocia North tour, landscape We are going to start with Dervent valley, next visit is the Pasabag fairy chimneys it is also called Monk valley. We are going to proceed to Avanos town where you can feel the local life. Avanos also famous with its handmade terracotta and ceramic art work. We will have opportunity to see how the ceramics made by hand. Lunch will be local Turkish food. In the afternoon we are going to visit Goreme Open Air Museum to see the frescoes which is telling stories of bible. Goreme open air museum has sanctuaries, churches, monasteries from the early Christianity period. Last visit will be panoramic viewpoint of down below the Uchisar Castle where you can see the castle and Goreme town with it is beautiful scenery Overnight Stay in Cave boutique hotel Lunch
DAY 2 – Cappadocia Ihlara Canyon Hiking Optional Hot Air Balloon (04:45- 08:30 AM)
You will be pickup from the hotel and drive to Esentepe for the panoramic view of General Cappadocia. Then proceed to Derinkuyu Underground ancient City, to explore its stables, churches, dining rooms storage and more.. Continues to Ihlara Valley. Canyon is about 16 km long and both sides has ancient rock carved houses ,storage ,churches, it believe that there are more than a hundred churches and houses located once upon a time. Your guide will assist to you for the walking about 2 miles along the river in the canyon to discover the beautiful nature. We are going to have our lunch at Belisirma Village. In the afternoon on our way back we will visit Selime Monastery and break at Yaprakhisar for the general view of the whole area. Overnight Stay in Cave boutique hotel Breakfast and Lunch
DAY 3 – Cappadocia full day south tour with lunch
Tour is starting with the pickup from your hotel to first of all we are going to hike in the Red valley hike about 5 km through the Gulludere valley, arrival to Cavusin village one of the location where you can feel local life. Proceed for lunch and Pigeon Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon we are going to visit Ozkonak Underground City, date back to the Hittites. Underground cities are constructed for the security reasons also used by the Christians to hide themselves from the pressures of Roman empire. Kaymakli Underground city was eight floor; today we are able to see only four floors, It could accommodate over 5000 people in emergency times. end of our services transfer to airport Breakfast and Lunch
SPECIAL NOTES
Clients may be able to walk over uneven and slippery surfaces. Comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunscreen are recommended. The order of the tour schedule may vary in order to avoid from the crowd. Clients always need to watch out their step in order to avoid injuries.
Ps. There is no restriction for arrival and departure times on the private tours. Guests who arrive on later flights will be missing some parts in the itinerary and no refund is given for missing visits of the reason for the late arrivals. Regular Services from Kayseri Airport are valid only for the arrivals around 09:30 and departures at 19:00. Those who arrive earlier or depart later may need to wait at the airport.
